Day 9






Have our Management of food safety lesson at 11.30am. When we reach school , we just realise that they have open house of their Extra Curriculum Activity and their Booth is located outside their library . They are require to pay a certain amount of money as their course are conducted by trainers. Today we study about HK food legislation, before the lecture start Mr ng show us some picture he took during a inspection on a catering outlet at the HK co-host Olympic games as he was invited to do a inspection and give some feedback to the vendor. He keep on asking us question on Singapore version of food legislation (Sales of food act), lucky we did study before in IFS.


After lunch we went to find Ms Karen to help her in the lab work , she brought us to the microbiology lab to help her to prepare solution after autoclave after that she taught us on one of the machines in the bio-lab . that is able to analysis the level of micro-organisms in food in 1 hours time it also can analysis 12 sample in one time. Soon we went back to food lab to learn to use table top refectometer, it was interesting and we try out with 3 sample. At the end of session she gave us some homework for tomorrow solution preparation. ( Molarity) thus we have to sleep early today! as tomorrow we need to report at 9.30am in campus! : (
