We start our day earlier than we did, again we was asked to prepare some reagent. In Singapore, usually preparation was done by our lab technician whereas now in here we're able to experience how reagent is prepare from top the calculation to bottom, the technique required. We're given a few solute namely sodium hydroxide, sodium chlorate and phenolptalein(indicator) to dissolve in solvent. What we like working with their lab technician and working in the lab is that Ms Karen, the lab technician she provide us with useful, correct our technique from wrong during the process. Though we too made those mistake in Singapore but because is only three of us so is easier for Ms Karen to observe our technique whereas in Singapore is 40 over students so is harder for the lecturer to observe.
We went for lunch at a near by fast food restaurant and have an hour rest before our next lesson.
Lesson wise, was on Management of Food Safety most of their regulation are similar with our local rules so is easy for us to handle. During the lesson, the lecturer is keen to know which governor is managing the maintaining the food safety and how we do inspection for eatery, restaurant. Overall, we find it very experiential though and of course there is more for us to learn.
We're also encourage by another lecturer to sit it for a module name Food Packaging we believe it will benefit us on future product development in both school and industries.
That all for now.
